Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager is a space exploration game with strategic and simulation elements.
“You are in charge. It’s your duty to carefully manage the agency’s budget by opening programs, spending R&D funds on improving the hardware, recruiting personnel and astronauts and launching space missions in this realistic turn based strategy game.” -Matrix Games
The game’s launch date is currently set to “Coming soon” for both PC and iPad.

There is a lot of “mind the reliability” on screenshots. I wonder how such mechanic would play out in big scale game like MoO series. Imagine an invasion in Sword of the stars getting stranded in interstellar space because fuel tanker leaked fuel from extra big prototype tanks.
It would be probably more fun in small scale games like SPAZ where the state of internal ship components have much bigger influence on player’s experience.
The screenshots look good, but the iPad part worries me. Hopefully it wont be too dumbed down because of that.
+1, it is never a good sign if something comes on 2 platforms with soo different capabilities.
I share the same opinion… Matrix Games usually do complex games so I hope it is at least that.
