About Heart of the Swarm
Heart of the Swarm is the first expansion pack to Blizzard’s sci-fi real time strategy game, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Heart of the Swarm continues Wings of Liberty’s story with 20 new missions now focusing on the Zerg race and the female hero character Kerrigan. New multiplayer content is also expected to be included in the expansion, as well as new features and upgrades to the Battle.net online platform.
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is being developed for Mac and Windows. There are no current plans for any console platform. Current release date is still TBA.

That trailer looks amazing! I’m really excited about all the new units they’ll be releasing for the multiplayer. The replicant for the Protoss seems like it has the most possibilities (although it’ll probably be the hardest to balance). The Shredder for terran also seems a little overpowered and might have been better given to the zerg. In any case, I can’t wait to see what some of the pro gamers do with the new units and the strategies they come up with.
